The occasion of graduation is a joyful one. It is a time to celebrate the completion of one of life's most important tasks. In the years that you have been at St. Joseph's College, you have changed; you have bettered yourself; and you have provided yourself with the knowledge, confidence, and credentials necessary for you to continue your achievements into the future.

GENERAL STGDIES HOLDS SEMINAR ON HEALTH CARE REIMBURSEMENT

The Division of General Studies held a one-day seminar last fall entitled "Reimbursement Revolution in Health Care." The seminar, specifically designed for nurses and health care professionals in clinical and educational settings, focused on the implementation and effects of Diagnostically Related Groups (DRG's) and Resources Utilization Groups (RGG's) payments on health care, with emphasis on medical implications under rate setting for health care institutions and health care practitioners.

Seminar participants engage in a problem-solving session.

ONE GRADUATE'S IMPRESSIONS

Entering Saint Joseph's College was a rewarding experience; my guidance counselor was very patient in helping me plan my studies. With her guidance, I entered into the Health Administration Program, Fall 1982. We have had many wonderful instructors, who were truly interested in making sure that the materials were not just offered but understood as well. This experience was quite different for me from the university 1 previously attended. Students here are recognized as adults from diversified professional and educational backgrounds. Many new friends and acquaintances were made forming a network through five boroughs in the community. This networking can be used in educating consumers. Saint Joseph's offers many opportunities that can lead to success.
